Marie Watt (born 1967) is a contemporaneous artist existing and working in Portland, Oregon. Part Seneca, Watt has created act centered on contemporaneous Native American themes. She holds a B.A. in art from Willamette Universal school and a Master's Stage from Yale Universal school. She has also studied at the Set up of American Indian Arts. Watt's art is in a primary manner lithography and plastic art. For her sculpture, she uses a diversity of materials, including everyday objects, as well as textiles, alabaster, slate, and cornhusks. In 2002, her rock sculpture Traveller afoot was installed along the east heap of the Willamette Stream in Portland. Her be in action has appeared in several exhibitions in the Conciliatory Northwest and beyond. In 2004, as part of the Continuum 12 artists line, an exhibit of her operate opened in New York Incorporated town and the George Gustav Heye Center of the General Museum of the American Indian.
