Caswell, Primitive Sheep

Earlier in the week I had situated a slide show of some items I purchased while on our route trip to Chicago. One of the items was a in pairs sized chenille bedspread. I bought that with the design of cutting it up to use in my crafts, specifically starched sheep. Caswell is my first sheep from the chenille bedspread. I have affection for how he turned out. The chenille is tea dyed to give it an old gaze. I painted Caswell's nose and ears with dark acrylic represent.

Caswell is adapted from a model of the same name by Crooked Inlet Mercantile.

The primary pattern calls for a coupled 'blanket' with either a centre of circulation or a star sewn on it. While I analogous that, I wasn't crank about a blanket integument up the chenille. I decided to create a 'pocket' with a luminary handsewn in the center. I added a covered with rust bell to that as well and filled the pouch with Sweet Annie, an American hang loose and an old spool. The primeval pattern also has a chuckle sitting on Caswell's back, which this one does not have. I do chart on making more Caswell's - and the bluster will turn up on a few of them.

The legs are cinnamon sticks which have tea dyed cheesecloth wrapped around the tops.

This was a fun prototype to make. This is the primary Caswell.
