Buddhist Patchwork Quilt Is Out!

Out in the creation, that is! I was thrilled to see that the new exit of Craft is now online (and hitting the newsstands in a short time) and I'm it it!

The Buddhist Patchwork quilt that I gave you a lurk preview of a pair of months ago is the make submissive of Wendy Tremayne's rounded pillar, and comes full with a brief tutorial. I went on and on about the layers of object and metaphor in the quilt and its train, but Wendy only had a few hundred talk, so it's a sweet, concise article.

My Mom's cat Angus checking out the enliven level. Minute does he make out that all the fabrics in this quilt were rescued from the offal. Everything from samples and scraps retrieved from my workshop building's dumpster to garments found on the street! My only criteria was that I had to use discarded corporeal. I ended up with a lot of blacks, whites, and shimmering pinks and oranges - not my every-day palette in the least.
