When I first moved to my popular apartment I stiched up drapes and a duvet overspread in Waverly's black and frosty Country The breath of one's nostrils toile, a pattern I have loved-loved-loved everlastingly (and by "forever" I middle waaay before toile went from being "work of the first class" to "the latest turn" to "ubiquitous" to "so passe you can find it at Great sea State Job Lot"). Now it seems hackneyed and pedestrian. Thankfully the other side of the duvet is of nature muslin, which looks huge with the new natural muslin drapes and coffee-with-supplemental-milk walls. Someday I may have feeling the toile love again, and I'll flip the duvet over and rehang the drapes and be in front of the curve. Everything old is new again, n'est pas?
